Project:
The newly established Data and Digital function, in partnership with scientific and technical development/manufacturing functions, is responsible for establishing overall data and digital strategy and its execution in a sustainable and scalable manner in support of our vision.
The newly formed Data and Analytics group is a global group accountable for initiation, delivery and development of innovative technical solutions and Applications to bridge early-stage and late-stage IT needs.

Tasks:
As a member of the team, you design, develop, and maintain small applications
based on R (packages, Shiny, RMarkdown, tidyverse, APIs)
You develop clear and stable code and implement helpful tests, e.g. unit tests
You write documentation to your code
You work closely with the teams responsible for the methodology

Skills:

Academic degree in Information Systems and Management, computer science,
mathematics, natural sciences or comparable
Advanced knowledge in development with R and proven experience in development of R packages and shiny apps OR experience Python development
Good written and spoken in either German or English is a must
Experience in using common software development tools and working methods (e.g. git, github, JIRA)
Good feeling for user experience, design and user-centric development and enjoy
working closely in a team with development and specialist colleagues
a high degree of willingness to take on responsibility as well as pronounced
entrepreneurial thinking and acting
a high level of quality awareness coupled with pragmatism and flexibility
Personal initiative, creative drive and fun in the development of sustainable solutions
